Nairobi Youth HostelThe Nairobi Youth Hostel is situated just 3km south-west of the city centre in a friendly ,clean homely and quiet Environment our staff are Amazing cheerful, informative, friendly and willing to help. Great atmosphere and is the best value in Nairobi, The Travel and tourist Information Desk assist in travel and activity booking for tours.Situated along the Ralph Bunche Road between the former Kenya school of Law and theNairobi hospital directly opposite the Upper Hill Medical Centre.It is only 20 minutes walk to the city centre.The Hostel is a perfect place to be if you want to meet travelers from all corners of the Globe in a relaxed, stress free, quiet, fun and friendly environment., the hostel makes a good base for visiting Nairobi National Wildlife Park, the National Karen Blixen, Giraffe Centre, Railway museums, the open air Maasai Market among other tourist attractions in Nairobi. It has a capacity for 96 beds The hostel offers accommodation in large dorms with 16 beds sharing separate for ladies and men, small rooms with 3 or 4 beds, bunk rooms with 2 beds or self contained one bedroom fully furnished apartments.other facilities include Lounge facilities ideal for holding meetings, gatherings, Set up with intention of helping to promote social welfare, a sun roof, garden, patio, laundry and meals. Conveniently located in the city, whilst being located in a very secure residential area. Other facilities within the hostel includes a cyber, cafe reasonably priced, a Gift shop ,grocery shop ,Tourist information and Safaris desk (African Home Adventure tours and Safaris) offering a wide rage of Tours and Safaris in Kenya and within East Africa members of HI Hostels members attract a 10% discount on all tours booked. How to get there - Nairobi International Youth Hostel Hostel

Our location is within easy reach from the city centre take Bus numbers 28,36,40,42 from the Hilton bus stop, drop off at the traffic police headquarters on Ngong road. Cross over and walk down Ralph Bunche road for about 500meters and on your left you will see the sign post for our hostel.The other route is Kenyatta avenue' Valley Road': Take the number 46 bus, matatus (mini bus) or City Hopper shuttle bus service from the Hilton bus stop. Get off at the school of law and walk a short distance (about 200meters). on your right there is a sign posted.Taxis cost about 400kshs (negotiable) from town centre and 1200 kshs from the airport.W e arrage for AIRPORT PICK UP AND DROP OFF.Please avoid harrasment at the airport on arrival as you may be redirected to other places that are not safe if you ask for taxi drivers or tour agents to bring you to the hostel just insist and stand firm you need to be droped at the youth hostel they might propose to you other places or pretend that they are calling the hostel ask always for the phone no they always cheat you be warned .In case of any difficulties at the Airport, please call us ( all contact details are on the confirmation email that you will get after you book) and our staff will respond to your needs immediately.
