Le-Domino is a 17 room hotel situated in a quiet residential area of Tema. We are approximately 20 minutes from the Airport and 10 minutes from the Harbour and nearest beaches. Nightlife is also 10 minutes away. We are also only 15 minutes from the famous Shire Hills where you can find monkeys, baboons and possibly even gorillas. 45 minutes from Akosombo where you can find the hydro-electric dam and the worlds biggest man-made lake called the Volta lake where you can fish for tilapia and go on river cruises.We are a family run hotel, in our own large established gardens where you can relax at the outside bar and watch the birds nesting in the summer huts. We are open 24 hours. Our restaurant serves both local and international cuisine to a very high standard. Most of our vegetables are grown on the premises. All rooms are en-suite, with hot water. They also contain cable TV, air-conditioning and fridges. Cots can be provided on requests. For getting about, we have taxis with drivers available 24 hours a day to serve as your guide.For those on a budget, how about staying at our sister guest house which has friendly staff to take care of you, rooms are spacious, clean and have double beds with ensuite, TV facilities, also close to town and 20 mins from the city.
How to get there - Le-Domino Hotel HotelOn leaving Kotoka Airport, head for the Accra-Tema motorway. At the Tema roundabout turn left which is your 4th exit. You will be heading for Akosombo. At the next roundabout, go straight, then straight through the police barrier. You will see a petrol station on your right, after this take the next right hand turn - you will see a signboard for the hotel at the junction. Go straight for about 500 meters and the hotel is on your left. There is no train service in Tema, however you can get a bus to anywhere in Ghana from Community 1 Tema, which is 10 minutes from the hotel. |
